Many of today's vehicles are equipped with added features known as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).

This system uses cameras and sensors mounted in various locations around your vehicle to aid in accident avoidance, park assist and adaptive cruise control.  The features known as LDW (Lane Departure Warning) and LKA (Lane Keep Assist) use a camera mounted on or near the rear view mirror on the windshield.  Depending on the manufactures specifications any of these sensors or cameras may need to be recalibrated if removed or replaced.
